The first will move across the area on Monday morning with a few stronger thunderstorms possible. In the afternoon and evening, thunderstorms are expected to redevelop with strong to severe storms possible. Large hail and damaging winds are the main hazards. Pockets of heavy rain are also possible. Periodic storm chances continue Tuesday and through much of the upcoming week. The severe weather risk will be better refined in the coming days.
