A Wind Chill Advisory is in effect for the area through midday

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Friday and Saturday night will see a period of light snow across 
central and northern Iowa. Though precipitation amounts are expected
to be light tonight, some travel impacts will be possible. An 
increasing risk for a couple of inches of light snow is expected 
for Saturday night northeast with a potential for additional
travel impacts. Check latest forecasts for updates and conditions.

Bitter cold and dangerous wind chills return for Tuesday through
Wednesday morning across much of Iowa.

Spotter activation will not be needed, but snowfall amounts would
be appreciated.
