Slow moving and training thunderstorms have dumped some hefty rainfall totals over some portions of the upper Midwest. La Crosse, Wisconsin reported 5.59" of rainfall yesterday making for the most precipitation in one day on record for the site! The featured chart presents the daily precipitation records by month for the site. Yesterday barely edged out a 5.55" total from back in 1884 on 6 September! We have a couple more days of rainfall chances before weather turns dry again.
