'20-'21 Winter Storm #3

Posted: 26 Oct 2020 08:24 AM

The snow producing winter storm systems for only October continued on Sunday into Monday with two waves of snowfall impacting the state. The first wave dumped upwards of five inches over northwestern Iowa with the second wave dumping lighter amounts over central and southern Iowa. The featured snowfall analysis combines available reports from the NWS and CoCoRaHS. Warmer temperatures are in the forecast this week, so the snow will not stick around for long. It has been a wild start to the cold season here in Iowa!
