Winds were a bit breezy again on Sunday with the NWS issuing another somewhat rare for the month of June Wind Advisory. The featured chart shows computed daily average wind speed and direction for Des Moines this month. Sunday comes in third for highest daily average this month behind the 10th and 1rst. More windy conditions are expected this week along with warmer temperatures back near 90 degrees.
