A very wet fall of 2018 erased the drought at the time and a wet winter into spring season kept it away. Conditions have turned dry this summer and the coverage of drought is on the increase. The latest US Drought Monitor released yesterday now has over 30% of the state analyzed in the "D0 Abnormally Dry" category.
