Continuing with the theme of highlighting how wet the past twelve months have been, today's feature looks at the climate district precipitation total ranks since 1893 based on unofficial IEM calculations. There are many 1s on the map, which indicate that the present period ranks wettest since 1893. So while Iowa statewide was the wettest, not all of the climate districts were wettest as well. Of course, coming in third out of 127 years is not far from first. Of course, more rain is in the forecast as our wet weather rolls on.
