'17-'18 Winter Storm #8

Posted: 23 Jan 2018 08:23 AM

The strongest winter storm of the season for Iowa dumped major amounts of snow over northwestern Iowa and along with very strong winds, created for blizzard conditions for much of Monday over the area. The featured snowfall reports analysis shows upwards of a foot of new snow over far northwestern Iowa with amounts quickly dropping off to the south and east of this area. This system also brought heavy rainfall to the state with some locations, like Waterloo, nearly receiving two inches of rain!
