The amount of snow produced was under what was anticipated, but the cold temperatures and dangerous wind chills did materialize for today. There were fewer than normal amount of reports made for this event as generally low totals and cold temperatures likely were discouraging for snowfall reports to be made. More snow and cold is in the forecast as winter rolls on for Iowa.
