The featured map displays the coldest reported temperature this season from the NWS COOP Network. Three categories of near or below freezing temperatures are represented. So far, the freezing temperatures have avoided Iowa based on these reporting stations. Please note, some of the southern reports on the map are difficult to determine if they are bad reports or micro-climate effects.
