After a front passed through on Wednesday, the past two days have seen windy afternoons as shown by the time series plot for the Des Moines Airport weather sensor. The now northerly winds have kept our temperatures cool with highs today only expected to reach the mid 40s. After being spoiled for most of October, November has started off more like what we would expect this time of year.
