A few days ago, preferred locations for the first freeze were featured showing locations in Westcentral Iowa with good chance to be one of the first in the state to experience sub freezing temperatures. The featured map is AWOS low temperatures on Sunday showing areas in the Nishnabotna Valley dropping to as low as 30 degrees.
