Doesn't get any shorter

Today is the winter solstice which is the shortest day of the year in terms of daylight time between sunrise and sunset. If it wasn't cloudy, Iowans would see roughly 9 hours of sunlight. The featured plot is daily daylight length for the year. The longest day is the summer solstice with daylight time approaching 15 hours.
