A plot of July rainfall totals shows an area Northwest of Des Moines that has been picking up much needed rainfall, but areas just south of Des Moines have been missing out. With the primary storm type being isolated pulse type, it is hard to get wide spread rainfalls. Unfortunately, today may be the last chance for rain for the next week or so. Canadian high pressure is on the way which will keep the rain away.
