This week is Severe Weather Awareness Week with today being the statewide tornado drill. This year has been somewhat unusual for the amount of severe weather we have already experienced before the awareness week! Tornado sirens like the one shown will be blowing today around 10 AM as a part of the drill. This may be an ironic warmup for a very dangerous situation shaping up for Thursday.
