Jacket and Umbrella Weather

Posted: 28 Sep 2005 06:26 AM

What has already been a rainy month for Northern Iowa will continue today with the passage of a strong cold front bringing showers and thunderstorms to the state. It will also be windy and rather chilly with temperatures in the 50s. This system will move quickly to our east and skies will clear this evening. This may allow temperatures to drop below freezing for the first time this fall in some select areas.
