A cool start on Wednesday was quickly reversed with bright sunshine and southerly winds. In some locations, temperatures climbed over 40 degrees above the low temperature. The most important change yesterday was the beginning return of moisture. This moisture return is continuing today with dew points climbing over 40 degrees. Higher dew points will keep us warmer at night and provide fuel for thunderstorms to bring us much needed rain.
