The forecasts came to fruition with a band of 12+ inches of snow falling in Central Iowa over these past two days. Snowfall reports continue to come in with the highest amount thus far being 17.5 inches in Ames. The good news is that the snow mostly ended early last night and road crews where able to get a head start on the plowing. Needless to say, take it easy out there.
