IEM Freeze is a GIS web application that dynamically plots RADAR imagery, roadway temperatures (colorized dots), and air temperatures (numeric values). The combination of these three datasets can give you a very descriptive picture during winter weather. The image shown here is from early Tuesday morning. You can see the contrast in temperatures and the zone where freezing rain was very likely.
